Der Alpinestars Tech5 V2 stellt eine bedeutende Evolution in der Kohlenstofffaserverstärkten Kunststoff-Technologie dar, wobei ein Vielzahlsystem aus EPS-Linern eingesetzt wird, das sich effektiver auf Schlagkräfte anpasst als traditionelle Einzeldichte-Dämpfer. Die Gehäusekonstruktion umfasst ein einzigartiges Webmuster, das die Energie über die Oberfläche verteilt anstatt sie am Punkt des Aufpralls zu konzentrieren, wodurch die Strukturintegrität erheblich verbessert wird, ohne unnötiges Gewicht hinzuzufügen.
