Der HJC C17 verwendet eine firmeneigene Kohlefaser-Verbundkonstruktion, die das Gesamtgewicht deutlich reduziert, ohne die strukturelle Integrität zu beeinträchtigen. Die Helmschale verfügt über ein EPS-Innenfutter mit unterschiedlichen Dichtegraden, das darauf ausgelegt ist, Aufprallenergie über verschiedene Kraftvektoren hinweg zu absorbieren und die strengen Anforderungen der DOT- sowie der ECE 22.06-Zertifizierung erfüllt. Der Innenkomfort wird durch ein feuchtigkeitsableitendes, herausnehmbares und waschbares Innenfutter-System gesteigert, das für Hygiene sorgt und durch anpassbare Wangenpolster eine individuelle Passform ermöglicht.
