Der Ruroc Atlas 4.0 verwendet ein firmeneigenes Kohlefasergewebe, das die Rotationsträgheit signifikant reduziert und gleichzeitig die strukturelle Steifigkeit gegen seitliche Aufprallkräfte beibehält. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Polycarbonatschalen absorbiert diese Verbundschicht hochfrequente Vibrationsenergie, was die Ermüdung des Fahrers bei längeren Autobahnfahrten verringert, ohne die für die ECE 22.06-Norm erforderliche Aufprallverteilungsmatrix zu beeinträchtigen. Das innenliegende EPS-Futter verfügt über eine zonierte Konstruktion mit unterschiedlichen Dichtegraden, die einen hervorragenden Schutz des Hinterkopfbereichs bietet und gleichzeitig eine präzise Konturierung der Wangenknochen ermöglicht, um unterschiedlichen Kopfformen gerecht zu werden.
