The Bell Star DLX MIPS Solid TC-3 utilizes a proprietary carbon fiber composite shell architecture designed to maximize impact absorption while minimizing overall mass. Integrated with the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), the helmet features a low-friction slip plane that allows the head to rotate slightly upon oblique impacts, reducing rotational forces transmitted to the brain. The internal EPS liner is engineered with variable density zones to optimize energy dissipation across different impact vectors.
