Motorcycle Helmet Safety & Compliance Statement
At Helmetsan, rider safety is our primary mission. We maintain rigorous standards for how safety certifications and crash test data are documented across our platform.
1. Homologation Verification
We index official safety standards recognized worldwide:
- ECE 22.06 / 22.05: United Nations Economic Commission for Europe standards.
- DOT FMVSS 218: United States Department of Transportation standard.
- SNELL M2020D / M2020R: Snell Memorial Foundation independent track and road certification.
- FIM FRHPhe-01 / 02: Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme competitive circuit homologation.
2. Sizing & Fit Advisory
No safety certification can protect a rider if the helmet does not fit correctly. A helmet that is too loose can rotate or eject during an impact. We strongly advise all riders to measure cranial circumference and match their cranial shape (Long Oval, Intermediate Oval, Round) before purchasing.
3. Report Data Discrepancies
If you identify a safety recall or specification change by a manufacturer, please notify our safety compliance desk at: [email protected].
