"The Helmet"
The AGV Story
AGV was founded in Turin, Italy, in 1947 by Antonio Gallina and his brother Giovanni, initially producing leather motorcycle gloves for the local racing community. The brand expanded into helmets in the late 1950s, quickly gaining a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and aerodynamic design that became synonymous with Italian motorsport excellence. Throughout the decades, AGV has remained at the forefront of safety innovation, pioneering technologies such as the first full-face helmet with an integrated sun visor and developing advanced impact-absorbing liner systems that set new global standards.
