The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) introduced its own mandatory homologation program for MotoGP, WorldSBK, and national championship racing. Testing includes oblique rotational impacts against high-friction anvils at extreme speeds and rigid shell penetration tests.
2. The Essential Track Spec Checklist
- Double D-Ring Closure: The only retention system universally permitted by track day organizations and race sanctioning bodies worldwide. Quick-release micrometric ratchets are prohibited for competitive track use.
- Tear-Off / Pinlock Posts: Visors equipped with external posts for optical tear-off film stacks.
